Policies:

RETURNS/REFUND POLICY

For return and/or refunds are acceptable under the following conditions:

  • Authorization from Count On Tools is required prior to any return.
  • All returns must be clearly marked with a return authorization number and a copy of the original invoice/packing slip to ensure proper credit. Items that are given as gifts and wished to be returned please include a copy of the original invoice.
  • All returns and/or refunds must be made within 30 days of order date on invoice.
  • All items returned must be in new conditions without signs of use and/or personal inflicted damages besides the normal wear and tear of correct usage.
  • All returns of saleable products are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • All returns shipping charges are at the cost of the customer, and can be insured if desired.

Any item that is deemed defective should be returned to us immediately for exchange or refund if necessary. (Please include along with the item a note describing the defect and/or the causes) All items have a lifetime guarantee. If a item is broken or is not possible for use after normal wear and tear usage, then it can be returned for a replacement part. Please see lifetime guarantee section for full details on these subjects.

For refunds - Count On Tools processes all refunds to the credit card used to make your purchase. Please allow 14 days from receipt of the returned merchandise for the processing of your credit. For Refunds, please contact Customer Service during normal business hours. Any refunds for discounts, gift certificates, or any such device will only be allowed as a online store credit. All administration and control of this type of refund will be under the discretion of the store's management.

WARRANTY POLICY (LIFETIME GUARANTEE)

Due to an overwhelming customer response, we have decided to revise our Warranty Policy to better accommodate our customer’s needs. This decision reverses any previous amendments to our Warranty Policy on returns.

All PB Swiss Tools products have an unlimited lifetime guarantee. If an item is broken or is not in working condition after normal wear and tear usage, then it can be returned for a replacement part. In some cases, an exact replacement part may not be available due to design changes or discontinued items. In this case, a customer support representative will contact you with options for completing the warranty return process.

Upon receipt, your return will be evaluated and items that fall within PB’s warranty will be replaced. Please allow 2 to 6+ weeks for processing and replacement. To ensure your return reaches us and that we have all information needed to warranty your items, please provide the following:

1. Warranty Replacement Form: (You may download this form here) Please fill out this form completely and print two copies. One copy should be returned with the warranty tool shipment, the other is for your personal records. Please type into the form when possible for legibility. Tools accompanied with incomplete, illegible, or unsigned forms will not be processed.

All warranty related returns are subject to a standard Processing and Handling fee (P&H fee). This fee covers processing and return shipping costs via US Mail. The P&H fee will be determined by the overall weight of the return shipment.  Count On Tools strives to provide the safest and most economical packaging and shipping methods for our Warranty Return Services. Please use the table below to determine your estimated costs for Processing and Handling:

This fee will be automatically charged to your account when the warranty return is processed. If you do not have an account with our company or have not purchased from us in the past, a customer service representative will contact you to process the return.  If the P&H fee exceeds the pre-determined amounts listed in the table above, you will be contacted by a customer service representative to notify you of these charges before the tools are replaced. Customers can also opt for expedited shipping services by providing a UPS or FedEx account number with a standard P&H fee of $5.00. Customers can also opt to have the items processed and returned with an outstanding order or shipment with a standard P&H fee of $5.00.

International Warranty Returns (outside US): Any International Warranty Return will be subject to the standard P&H fee of $5.00 plus any additional shipping charges. Count On Tools strives to provide the safest and most economical packaging and shipping methods for our Warranty Return Services. Customers will be contacted by a customer service representative to notify them of these charges before the tools are replaced.

PRICING & PAYMENT POLICY

Except where noted otherwise, the price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself. With respect to items sold by PB Swiss Tools Online (www.pbtools.us), we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following: If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

We accept Credit/Debit Cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), Check, Money Order, COD, Purchase Orders (with accounts), Phone Orders, and Fax Orders.

TAXES

All taxes are based on State, and Federal laws and requirements. Taxes are therefore applied in certain areas based on these laws and requirements. Taxes are applicable only in the state of Georgia by State and County tax areas. Shipping and Handling taxes are applicable if the items you purchase are taxable.

SHIPPING POLICY

Domestic Shipments - Shipping charges to all contiguous U.S. destinations are determined by the total dollar value of merchandise ordered. Your location within the U.S. does not matter -- all contiguous U.S. destinations are the same low rates.

All orders received before 3:30 pm (E.S.T) will be shipped the same day assuming the product is in stock.

We make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours after receiving. All orders will be shipped during the normal business week, Monday thru Friday. Our preferred carrier is UPS or FedEx. All tracking information from UPS or FedEx should be available on your shipping confirmation from PB Swiss Tools Online (www.pbtools.us). Please note that orders can be sent to post office boxes and/or APO/FPO addresses using USPS services.

Any items that are on backorder will be shipped as soon as they become available. In most cases, we can get the items within 4-6 weeks of your order. Each customer has the option of receiving a partial shipment if some items on your order are not in stock. In this case, the customer is responsible for any extra shipping charges that will apply. 

International Shipments - All international orders will be charged regular shipping fees as provided by the carriers. You may select either standard or expedited shipping options for your order when completing the checkout process. Once your order has been received by our customer service department, we will calculate estimated shipping charges based on your provide address and send them to you by email/phone. You must then acknowledge the shipping costs before we process your order for shipment.

Our preferred carrier is UPS or FedEx. All tracking information from UPS or FedEx should be available on your shipping confirmation from PB Swiss Tools Online. USPS (mail) is another, more economical shipping option for international orders. Please note, however, mail shipments are NOT insurable and therefore you must accept Full Responsibility for this method. However, keep in mind we do ship our merchandise very securely and rarely experience any problems.

Any extra charges by Customs, Duties, or Taxes are to be paid by the customer after shipment. PB Swiss Tools Online will not be held responsible or liable for any problems that result at your local customs office. No refunds will be given for items that are seized at your local customs office. PB Swiss Tools Online will not be held liable for any customs duties or taxes that arise from your local customs office.

PB Swiss Tools Online will also not be held responsible for any additional fee the local carrier in your country may charge. Our international shipping prices reflect the base shipping charge not including customs duties, taxes and country specific fees. Our fees ONLY reflect the cost for us to ship your order to your country. If you refuse to pay your local duty or tax and the carrier bills PB Swiss Tools Online for the unpaid charges, we will re-charge you for the applicable amount. Failure to pay customs duties and taxes may also jeopardize or terminate your ability to place future orders. If you are unsure of your country's import policies, please check with them before ordering. No refunds will be given for items that are destroyed by the carrier for non-delivery.
